The mission of the Oklahoma State University Staff Advisory Council is to represent the interests of staff in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that directly affect their morale, well-being, working conditions, and professional welfare.
The OSU Staff Advisory Council diligently strives to foster a working environment that enables staff to achieve the mission of the University, which is to make OSU "The University of Choice in Oklahoma." The staff contribute to the mission of the University by providing the services and support that directly enhance the quality of academic, research, and extension programs; therefore, the services and support provided by the staff are essential to the welfare of the University.

The Staff Advisory Council was established in 1975 as the voice of the staff to OSU Administration. SAC, as it is commonly referred to, aids the President and Administration by providing information about the way decisions can and do affect the University staff through policies and procedures.
The Staff Advisory Council is made up of 27 representatives throughout the campus and has members from each of the branch campuses. SAC meets monthly, and all meetings are open to the public with OSU staff being encouraged to attend.
The Staff Advisory Council annually presents Service Awards, Distinguished Service Awards and Scholarship Awards to the OSU Staff. If you would like more information contact us at email@example.com.
