Ramitha Raja - I have worked at OSU for the past 10 years and have really enjoyed my time serving on the Staff Advisory Council and would love the opportunity to continue as it provides a meaningful opportunity to represent staff perspectives, contribute to institutional decision-making. Over the past term, I’ve gained a better understanding of the issues that matter to staff and have appreciated the chance to be part of a group that works toward meaningful improvements. I’d like to continue building on that experience, staying involved, and contributing where I can. Overall, its been a rewarding experience, and i would be glad to continue to serve as this a great opportunity to contribute, learn from others, and help support a better environment for staff.
Casey Romero - I have worked at OSU for over 18 years. I have worked as a lab technician, energy manager, and now I oversee both Energy Management and the Automation Systems Group in Facilities Management. This experience at various levels gives me a well-rounded perspective on staff concerns. I am at a point in my career where I am able to give my time volunteering. I want to serve the people I work with in a way that I have not in the past. I believe I will bring unique value to the Staff Advisory Council and look forward to serving all of OSU's staff on campus.
Amanda Mills - I have worked at OSU for 3 years. Currently I’m serving as the Online Education Manager in the Greenwood Center for Online Excellence in Spears School of Business. During my time at OSU, I have had the opportunity to engage with students, faculty, and staff both in my current role and my previous role as an academic advisor. These positions have given me an appreciation for the essential role staff play in the university’s mission and supporting campus operations. My professional experience includes work in outreach, education, and student support, which I believe have prepared me to be able to serve effectively on the Staff Advisory Council. I bring strengths in listening, communication, and problem solving, and I am comfortable advocating for staff needs while balancing this with campus priorities. In both my current and previous roles, I have worked to ensure that policies and processes are clear, equitable, and responsive to those most affected by them. I am interested in serving on the Staff Advisory Council because I value having a voice in conversations that impact staff and the OSU community. I believe staff bring important perspectives to decision making, and I would like the opportunity to listen to colleagues, share feedback, and contribute ideas that help improve communication, professional development, and overall staff experience at Oklahoma State University.
Gordon Alexandria - I graduated from OSU in the spring of 2025 with a B.S. in sociology. During my time as a student, I developed a deep appreciation for the OSU community, its values, and the supportive environment it fosters. That experience inspired me to pursue more here and seek professional opportunities that allow me to contribute meaningfully to the university. I am always seeking ways to strengthen my leadership skills and expand my professional growth. Thus, serving on the Staff Advisory Council would give me the opportunity to engage more directly with campus initiatives and contribute to efforts that enhance the experiences of staff, faculty, and students. I am particularly interested in supporting positive policy development, contributing to campus events, and helping create an environment where our community can thrive. I would be honored to serve and help make a meaningful, university-wide impact. Thank you.
Nicole Hendricks - I serve as an Academic Program Specialist with OSU Online and have proudly been part of the Cowboy family since 2019. In my role, I support student success while also working behind the scenes to improve processes that impact both students and staff.
I am currently a member of the Staff Advisory Council and am seeking to continue serving because I care deeply about the people who make OSU what it is. I see SAC as an opportunity to amplify staff voices, strengthen connections across campus, and contribute to initiatives that make our workplace more engaging, supportive, and inclusive. I am driven by the belief that small efforts can lead to meaningful change. Continuing to serve on SAC would allow me to grow as a leader while giving back to a community that has given so much to me. I am proud to be part of the Cowboy family and excited about the opportunity to help make OSU an even stronger place to work and thrive. I would be honored to continue representing my colleagues and contributing to a stronger OSU community.
Justin Cypert-Worley - Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of serving on the Staff Advisory Council, and I am proud to seek reelection to continue advocating for the staff members who make this institution thrive. My time on Council has strengthened my commitment to ensuring that staff voices are heard, respected, and acted upon at every level of decision-making. As Chair of the Rules, Policies, and Procedures Committee for the past two years, I have worked diligently to ensure that our governing framework is clear, fair, and reflective of staff needs. Most notably, I have led the revision of the staff tuition policy, which is now fully prepared and ready to be brought forward as a formal recommendation for 100% tuition remission for staff this coming year. This initiative represents a meaningful investment in the professional growth and financial well-being of our colleagues. Throughout my tenure, I have been a consistent and vocal advocate for staff rights, raising concerns, pushing for transparency, and working to ensure that policies serve the people they are meant to protect. I believe that every staff member deserves a seat at the table, and I have worked hard to be a reliable voice for those who may not always have the opportunity to speak for themselves. If reelected, I will continue that fight. I will keep championing equitable policies, strengthening our shared governance processes, and making sure staff interests remain central to every conversation. I humbly ask for your support and your vote.
